Greek gaming operator and supplier INTRALOT has submitted a proposal to Greece's Minister of Finance Yianis Varoufakis calling for the formation of a National Lottery in the country, claiming it could generate up to €600m in revenue for the state.

Speaking at the company’s Annual General Meeting yesterday, INTRALOT group chairman Socrates Kokkalis said the supplier believed a lottery should be established, with a supplier chosen to power the offering by international tender.
