Bump 50:50, a division of Sportech Racing & Digital, has agreed partnerships with a number of charitable foundations linked to Canadian and US sporting teams which will see it supply technology to power raffles at sporting and entertainment events.

The deal sees the operator partner a wide array of teams, including the Arizona Coyotes of the National Hockey League, with its foundation to launch a matchday raffle service in September this year. It has also struck a deal with Canadian Football League team the Montreal Alouettes.

The Alouettes launched a 50/50 raffle in June, as did the Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix race when it was held on June 7th.

A number of new partners have also launched raffle offerings in June, such as Major League Soccer club Montreal Impact, Le Festival d'été de Quebec, and the Michigan International Speedway of the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing, which recently saw a record $75,000 raised in a raffle.

Bump 50:50 provides the charitable foundations of these teams, venues and events with point-of-sale software, hardware and central processing services, as well as program design and coordination, sales teams training, reporting and data analytics. It has also recently introduced credit card integration for raffle purchases, as well as the ability to opt in and receive text notification of draw winners.

“We are very pleased to have been selected by these luminaries in the worlds of sports and entertainment to support their fundraising efforts,” Bump 50:50 presdient Dan Tanenbaum said.

“Since joining the Sportech Racing & Digital division last summer, Bump 50:50 has been on a significant customer acquisition trajectory, and we are very gratified to see that our investment in software, hardware and people is helping more and more foundations fulfill their vital charitable missions.”
