Ontario approval continues supplier’s expansion across North America, where it already holds licences in ten US states

BETER is entering the Canadian sportsbook market for the first time after securing licence approval from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).

The Gaming-Related Supplier Registration allows BETER to provide Ontario-licensed operators with live streams, real-time data, and odds for its exclusive portfolio of fast-paced esports and sports content, including its ESportsBattle eLeagues, Setka Cup table tennis series, and BSKT Cup basketball league.

The approval in Ontario continues BETER’s expansion across North America, with the supplier already holding licences in ten US states and also pursuing approval in Alberta.

“Ontario is an important step in building BETER’s North American business and a significant part of our global growth strategy,” said BETER CEO Gal Ehrlich. “Our exclusive content gives operators something they cannot easily find elsewhere, and that differentiation is helping us expand into new regulated markets.

“Canada offers significant potential, and Ontario gives us a strong foundation from which to build a lasting presence across the country.”

Valeriia Tarchynska, chief legal officer at BETER, added: “Securing our Ontario registration is a significant milestone and reflects BETER’s commitment to meeting the highest regulatory and compliance standards in every market we enter.

“As we continue expanding across Canada, our focus will remain on sustainable growth, strong regulatory relationships, and maintaining the trust of our partners and stakeholders.”
