The Australian state of Victoria has awarded Tatts Group an exclusive 10-year licence to operate a range of lotteries.

Tatts is already the exclusive lottery operator in Victoria under a licence issued in 2007, expiring June 30th, 2018.

The company will pay the state a AUD$120m premium (€80m) on June 1st, 2018, when the new licence commences, with the Victorian government estimating that the licence will generate close to $4bn over its 10-year term.
