The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) discovered 44 breaches of the country’s Interactive Gambling Act (IGA) during the first quarter of 2019.
Of the 80 enquiries and complaints received by the Australian government's statutory authority in Q1, 62 were found to be valid complaints that could be investigated under the IGA. This compared to 47 valid complaints received during the previous quarter.
