Italian gaming operator Sisal Matchpoint has agreed a new partnership with Italian Serie A football club AS Roma for the upcoming 2015/16 season.
Sisa has been unveiled as a Top Sponsor for the club, alongside the likes of TIM (Telecom Italia), Tren Italia’s Frecciarossa, TV broadcaster Sky, and energy drink Gatorade.
As part of the deal, the retail and online betting operator will benefit from brand exposure across the club’s 70,600 capacity Stadio Olimpico, while the company will also work on a number of initiatives and events through the season involving Roma’s fans.
"This season we wanted to combine our brand with a big club and the choice fell immediately on AS Roma,” said Sisal CEO Francesco Durante. "It is a club that in recent years has been able to innovate and grow.”
Roma remains without a shirt sponsor for the upcoming season, which kicks off this weekend, finished as runner up to champions Juventus last season.
