The UK's Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has refused to take any action against a Paddy Power newspaper advert ordering controversial FIFA president Sepp Blatter to “just f**k off already.”

The offending advert appeared in the Sports section of UK national newspaper The Guardian, and featured odds on candidates for the 2015 FIFA presidential election, held in May this year.

An image showed Sepp Blatter, who was seeking his seventh term in the post, holding up a piece of paper to announce the winner, saying “Me,” suggesting he had already been decided as the victor.
