Lottery betting operator Lottoland has hit out at the Australian Advertising Standards Board (ASB) after it banned one of its ads for depicting excessive gambling, saying that it disagrees with the watchdog's decision but will amend the ad "for commercial reasons".
Lottoland said it would amend the ad, which shows a man secretly betting on the site, "out of respect for the [regulatory] process" after it was the subject of a complaint from a player.
