The European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform is expected to go live on February 15th, which will allow consumers, traders and Alternative Dispute Resolution providers to file, respond to, and handle disputes online.

It relates to the implementation of EU Directive 2013/11/EU on Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) for consumer disputes in the gambling sector.

To encourage the use of ODR, a European ODR platform will be launched to allow consumers, traders and ADR providers to file, respond to, and handle disputes, including disputes where the trader and consumer are in different countries within the EU online.
