GVC-owned gaming operator bwin has signed two more betting partnerships in Spain, agreeing deals with La Liga sides Valencia CF and Villarreal CF.

Alongside its partnerships with Sevilla FC and Atlético Madrid this week, bwin has agreed to serve as the official betting partner of Villarreal and Valencia until May and June 2018 respectively.

The operator will benefit from brand exposure at Valencia’s Camp de Mestalla stadium and during Villarreal matches at the Estadio de la Ceramica, as well as via the clubs’ websites and social media networks.

Valencia CF president Lay Hoon Chan stressed the importance of the deal with “the benchmark brand in a sector that continues to expand throughout the world and is therefore strategically beneficial and very important for the club.”

Marcus Silva, managing director of bwin in Spain, added: “The values of Valencia CF, its history and the current project were key elements to convince us to sign this agreement that will help align the bwin strategy in the Spanish market.”

Villarreal and Valencia are currently in 6th and 13th place in La Liga after 25 games of the current season.
