ASA aims to protect UK consumers with increased online focus

The UK’s Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has unveiled a new five-year strategy to further strengthen the regulation of online advertising.

The ASA explained that the particular ‘online’ focus of the new strategy is in response to businesses that are increasingly advertising online, with people spending more time online and the pace of change online contributing to people’s concerns.
