First German winner of World Series of Poker main event

Twenty-two year old poker professional Pius Heinz has won the 2011 World Series of Poker (WSOP) main event, becoming the first German to win the prestigious poker tournament and taking home the third highest payout in history.

The November Nine returned to the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on Sunday to compete in the final table of the main event, featuring players from Germany, UK, Ireland, Ukraine, Belize, Czech Republic and the U.S.
