Caesars Entertainment Operating Company (CEOC), a subsidiary of Caesars Entertainment Corporation, has voluntarily filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection as part of its financial restructuring plan to significantly reduce long-term debt by approximately $10bn.
CEOC and certain of its US subsidiaries have voluntarily filed for reorganization under Chapter 11 of the US Bankruptcy Code in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois in Chicago.
