Boom Fantasy, a new California-based start-up backed by Zynga chief executive Mark Pincus, has launched its real-money fantasy sports product after recently completing a $1.4m seed funding round.
The game has launched following a beta period in which players placed 1.5m predictions in just three months. Instead of drafting a line-up, Boom Fantasy players compete in 10-minute fantasy sports leagues centred around live events that can be watched on TV.
