Kentucky Derby betting and attendance figures fail to beat 2015 record

The 2016 Kentucky Derby attracted the second-highest crowds and amounts wagered in the event’s history, but failed to top the records set in 2015, racetrack owner and betting operator Churchill Downs Incorporated (CDI) has revealed.
