Finland’s Veikkaus to cut 400 jobs in retail restructuring

Finland’s state-owned gaming operator Veikkaus plans to cut 400 jobs as part of a restructuring of its retail operations.

With the operator increasingly focused on expanding its digital offering, which now accounts for 42 per cent of turnover, the restructuring is designed to improve the company’s overall cost structure and create more efficient operations.
