With the country’s state lottery operator Loterías y Apuestas del Estado (LAE) recently rushing though a consultation on draft gaming regulations to govern online gaming, the Spanish Association of Internet Betting (AEDAPI) has estimated that the Spanish online gaming market generated a profit of €315m last year, an increase of 19 per cent versus the previous year.
