Sports betting in Cyprus grew by 9 per cent to €259.4 million in the third quarter of 2023, with rises in both retail and online betting.
Online betting increased by 9 per cent to €188.5 million and retail betting was up by 8 per cent to €70.9 million.
There were seven licensees in the retail sector during the third quarter operating 490 licensed premises, and 13 operators licensed for online betting.
