Inspired agrees virtual sports deal with DraftKings

New York-listed gaming supplier Inspired Entertainment has signed a deal to provide its virtual sports solution to sports betting and daily fantasy sports operator DraftKings.

Inspired will provide DraftKings with its V-Play Plug & Play virtual sports offering in New Jersey, including 14 virtual sports games covering Basketball, Football, Horse Racing, Soccer and Car Racing, as well as the supplier’s new V-Play NFLA Legends Football and V-Play Basketball games.

“We are very excited to team up with DraftKings to bring virtual sports to their passionate fans,” said Inspired president and chief operating officer Brooks Pierce. “Not only do we have the largest and most advanced portfolio of virtual sports, we tailor our products to sports fanatics with a combination of fast-paced action, ultra-realistic player simulations and a tremendous breadth of bet types.

“We are looking forward to working with DraftKings on bringing a continual stream of betting content to their customer base, especially at this time when there is limited live sports content available.”

Shares in Inspired Entertainment Inc (NSQ:INSE) closed up 6.53 per cent at $2.12 per share in New York Friday.
