Hard Rock Casino Netherlands has appointed former DAZN Bet chief experience officer Cristiano Blanco as CEO with immediate effect.
Blanco joins the operator after a four month stint as CEO of DAZN Bet, having previously spent three years at ComeOn Group, where he led a team of over 60 staff as chief product officer.
He also held senior positions at Kindred Group between February 2017 and June 2021, culminating in his role as group head of gaming.
“We are delighted to have Cristiano, an experienced professional, in the right position. With his background at Kindred/Unibet and ComeOn, Cristiano brings invaluable expertise in the Dutch online casino market,” said Paul Strikers, founder of Hard Rock Casino Online Netherlands.
Strikers has served as CEO of Hard Rock Casino Netherlands since July 2022 and will continue with the company as its money laundering reporting officer and public affairs manager.
Blanco said of his appointment as CEO: “I am excited about this new challenge and the opportunity to work with such an iconic global brand. Hard Rock Casino Netherlands aligns perfectly with my personal values in terms of style and tone of voice. I look forward to driving this rising star player in the Dutch market towards further growth, maturity and scalability.”
Hard Rock Digital operates in the Netherlands under a brand licensing deal with Strikers’ iCasino BV, which secured an iGaming license from Dutch regulator Kansspelautoriteit (KSA) in May. Its platform in the Netherlands is powered by Bragg Gaming Group.
