Genting Singapore has appointed Lee Shi Ruh as president and chief operating officer with effect from 1 August.
Lee Shi Ruh has served as chief financial officer at Genting Singapore since 2010 and took on the additional role of president of Genting’s Resorts World Sentosa subsidiary in September 2023, before also being named CEO of Resorts World Sentosa earlier this year.
Lee assumed her new role as president and COO of Genting Singapore on 1 August and has stepped down as the company’s CFO.
She is replaced as CFO by Ang Suat Ching, who assumes the role alongside her existing duties as CFO of Resorts World Sentosa.
“These appointments reflect our commitment to leadership renewal as the Group enters its next phase of growth,” said Tan Sri Lim Kok Thay, executive chairman and acting CEO of Genting Singapore.
“Shi Ruh brings a proven track record of sound decision-making, strategic discipline and a clear understanding of the Group’s long-term priorities, which will be invaluable in her expanded role as President & COO of the Company. We also welcome Suat Ching to the executive team, whose financial expertise will support our long-term value creation.”
Genting Singapore posted revenue of S$626.2 million (approx. €430.7 billion) for the first quarter of 2025, down 20 per cent year-on-year, with Resorts World Sentosa reporting a 24 per cent drop in gaming revenue to S$437.5 million, alongside a 10 per cent drop in non-gaming revenue to S$188.5 million.
Shares in Genting Singapore Ltd. (SGX:G13) were trading 0.68 per cent higher at S$0.75 per share in Singapore Monday.
