Gaming and racetrack operator Churchill Down Incorporated (CDI) has confirmed that Robert Evans will retire from the company’s executive team at the end of September, although he will continue to serve the company as non-executive chairman.
CDI said that the changes complete the senior executive leadership transition begun last August when William Carstanjen replaced Evans as CEO. He will continue to serve the company as non-executive chairman.
