Toronto-listed Imperus Technologies has appointed Vicenç Martí, currently chief executive of the recently-acquired social casino business Akamon Entertainment, as the company's new president.
Martí takes on the position after Imperus agreed a deal to acquire Akamon in a $23.9m deal in September 2015, which was completed in November last year. Akamon owns the Tel Aviv based social studio Diwip, which operates the Best Casino app.
