ZEAL Network, formerly known as Tipp24, has announced the appointment of Jonas Mattsson as the company’s new chief financial officer, replacing Andreas Keil who stepped down from the role in September.
Mattsson brings with him more than a decade of senior management experience with a particular focus on the telecommunications and technology sectors.
Prior to joining ZEAL, he was CFO and executive vice president of the network communications company O3b Networks, where he had a key role in raising $1.3bn for the company and in establishing a global organisation.
Prior to that, he served as CFO of various entities of SES, a world-leading satellite operator, and also worked within the management teams of different parts of Ericsson including an international assignment in Japan as well as in the start-up company Ericsson Microsoft Mobile Venture.
Effective February 1st, Mattsson will also serve as a member of the company’s executive board. He succeeds Keil who left the company in September last year at his own request.
“We are very pleased to welcome Jonas Mattsson to our team and to the executive board of ZEAL,” said ZEAL CEO Hans Cornehl. “He has a remarkable professional track record as CFO in major global corporations. I am sure that ZEAL will considerably benefit from his international management experience, and I am convinced that he will be a real asset to our company's pursuit of a better world of lottery."
Shares in ZEAL Network SE (Co. Data) (FRANKFURT:TIM) were trading at €38.73 earlier Friday.
