Portuguese monopoly operator Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa has appointed Portugal’s former Prime Minister Pedro Santana Lopes as the company’s new president.
Lopes has a wide range of experience at both national and local government levels, most notably serving as Portugal’s 118th prime minister between 2004 and 2005.
