London-listed betting and gaming operator Entain has appointed Amanda Brown as an independent non-executive director.
Brown will join the company’s board on 8 November and will also serve as a member of the remuneration committee.
She most recently served as chief human resources officer at insurance provider Hiscox, where she was a member of the senior leadership team prior to stepping down in 2022.
She currently serves as non-executive director and remuneration committee chair of pub operator Mitchells & Butlers, and non-executive director and chair designate of the remuneration committee at Manchester Airport Group.

Brown joins Rahul Welde, David Satz, Virginia McDowell and Pierre Bouchut as non-executive director at Entain. The remainder of the board is comprised of chairman Barry Gibson, CEO Jette Nygaard-Andersen, CFO and deputy CEO Rob Wood, and senior independent director Stella David.
Shares in Entain plc. (LSE:ENT) closed 0.09 per cent lower at 913.00 pence per share in London Monday, prior to this morning’s announcement.
