Entain appoints Eminence Capital founder to Board

Entain has expanded its board of directors with the appointment of Ricky Sandler as a non-executive director.
Sandler is the founder, chief executive and chief investment officer of investment firm Eminence Capital and joins the board of Entain with immediate effect.
“I am pleased to welcome Ricky to the Board of Entain,” said chairman Barry Gibson. “Ricky has a deep knowledge of our business and a firm belief in the quality of our operations and substantial growth opportunities.
“We look forward to benefiting from his perspectives and expertise as we work to drive value for all Entain shareholders.”
Sandler will also become a member of the company's People and Governance committee, where he will work to identify an additional non-executive director who is mutually agreeable to Eminence Capital and Entain. He will also serve on the Capital Allocation committee.
Eminence is a $6.5 billion global investment management firm investing client capital across global financial markets.

Shares in Entain plc. (LSE:ENT) were trading 1.28 per cent higher at 998.00 pence per share in London Wednesday morning.
