London-listed iGaming affiliate XLMedia is looking for a new finance chief to replace Caroline Ackroyd, who will leave the company at the end of March.

Ackroyd has notified the Board of her intention to resign with a view to joining an operator in the gambling sector, but will remain with the business until 31 March to assist with an orderly handover.

She has served as chief financial officer and Board member since March 2022, and previously worked in the gambling sector for the likes of Sky Betting & Gaming (now part of Flutter) and Coral Interactive (now part of Entain).

“Caroline has made a considerable contribution to XLMedia over the past two years,” said XLMedia chairman Marcus Rich. “On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank her for this, and to offer her our best wishes for the future.”

XLMedia has begun a process to find a replacement.

Shares in XLMedia plc (LSE:XLM) were trading 1.66 per cent lower at 8.02 pence per share in London earlier Wednesday.
