WA.Technology brings in chief strategy officer to continue LatAm expansion

Malta-headquartered iGaming solutions provider WA.Technology has appointed Sander Koch as chief strategy officer (CSO) as the company looks to expand its presence across Latin America.

Koch brings over 18 years’ experience in management consulting, and most recently served as a partner at Dubai-based consultancy firm Arthur D. Little.

“Sander's appointment as chief strategy officer marks a significant milestone in our company's journey,” said WA.Technology chief executive officer Tim Scoffham. “His understanding of the sector and strategic acumen align perfectly with our vision for the future.

Koch is the latest addition to the supplier’s executive leadership team following the recent appointment of Francesco La Deda as chief financial officer (CFO), who joins from Aristocrat where he served as vice president commercial finance for Pixel United.

The appointments coincide with WA.Technology’s new partnership with Mexico City-based consulting and advisory firm Latam Entertainment, ahead of its planned entry into Mexico’s regulated iGaming market.
