DraftKings has appointed Erik Bradbury as chief accounting officer, marking Bradbury’s second period of service with the Boston-headquartered operator.
He will take up his new role on 12 August 2024, having previously served as DraftKings’ chief accounting officer between September 2020 to September 2023.
He is returning to the operator after a short spell as senior VP, controller and chief accounting officer at IAC.
Prior to his first term at DraftKings, Bradbury was a partner at Earnst & Young and served as the company’s lead partner for EY’s largest global clients.
He takes over the role of chief accounting officer from Alan Ellingson, who has held the position on an interim basis alongside his role as chief financial officer of DraftKings.
In related news, DraftKings took the lead in New York’s mobile sports betting market in May, overtaking FanDuel for the first time since September 2023.
Shares in DraftKings Inc. (NASDAQ:DKNG) closed 0.23 per cent higher at $38.98 per share in New York Thursday.
