Light & Wonder takes Playzido platform live in Ontario

Light & Wonder has expanded its iGaming offering in Ontario through its platform and games supplier Playzido.

Licensed operators in the Canadian province now have access to a range of games from third-party studios via the Playzido RGS platform, including Bang Bang Games, Atlantic Digital and Pixiu Gaming.

“We are thrilled to take the Playzido platform live in Ontario for the first time,” said Light & Wonder managing director for Canada Byron Bridger. “It provides further evidence of our mission to empower operators to craft ground-breaking and branded content, both in North America and beyond.

“We are now focused on creating a host of compelling new gaming experiences that speak to player appetites in Ontario.”

In related news, Playzido has launched a new Star Trek-themed slot via studio partner Atlantic Digital.

The Star Trek: Next Generation slot launches exclusively on BetMGM Casino in Michigan via the Playzido platform, marking the second release in its partnership with Atlantic Digital.

Shares in Light & Wonder Inc (NASDAQ:LNW) closed 0.30 per cent higher at $84.34 per share in New York Thursday.
