Stake secures title sponsorship in F1

Online betting and gaming operator Stake has been unveiled as the exclusive title sponsor of the Sauber Formula One team.

The team will be known as the Stake F1 Team in the 2024 and 2025 seasons, building on the successful partnership that was established in 2023.

“Last season represented the start of Stake’s journey in Formula One, and the brand’s new role headlining Stake F1 Team represents the natural and exciting next step on this path,” said team representative Alessandro Alunni Bravi. “Stake not only successfully tapped into Formula One’s growing fan base to enhance its own community; but also introduced a completely new audience to the sport, something that benefitted not only our team but also everyone else in F1.”

The team was known as Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake last year and will now race under the Stake F1 name until the end of the 2025 season, when it will become the Audi factory team.

The driver pairing of Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu have been retained for the 2024 season.
