Gaming Innovation Group powers Casino Time launch in Ontario

Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) is expanding its presence in Ontario by powering the launch of Casino Time, a joint venture between leading retail operators in the Canadian province’s Charitable Gaming sector.

GiG is providing its iGaming platform and LogicX real-time rules engine for the operator’s online bingo and casino site, with a new sportsbook to follow later this year, powered by GiG’s SportX platform.

“GiG continues to set the pace with a strong cadence of brand launches in 2024, and I’m pleased that when operators are seeking platform solutions in regulated markets, GiG is leading the pack,” said GiG chief business officer Andrew Cochrane.

Ontario’s regulated iGaming market recorded strong growth in its second full year of operation with total gaming revenue increasing 72 per cent to CAD$2.4 billion for the fiscal year ended 31 March 2024.

Shares in Gaming Innovation Group Inc (OSL:GIG) were trading at NOK34.40 per share in Oslo earlier Friday.
