China plans to crackdown on citizens gambling with online operators in the Philippines, with the Ministry of Public Security targeting online payment processors for action.
The crackdown on offshore online gambling was announced late last week by the Chinese embassy in the Philippines, and was issued in response to moves by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGOR) to transfer Chinese nationals employed in the Philippines offshore gambling industry to “self-contained communities”.
