British gambling support charity GambleAware and National Gambling Helpline operator GamCare have taken a significant step toward improving the level of help available to problem gamblers by making the national helpline available 24 hours a day, all year round.
The helpline is funded by GambleAware and operated by GamCare and received over 30,000 calls in the past year, with that figure rising year-on-year.
