NHS data shows fewer people gambling in England

Figures released this week by NHS Digital show a decline in gambling participation among people in England over the age of 16.

The 2018 Health Survey for England (HSE) is based on interviews with 8,178 adults aged 16+ and reveals that 53.9 per cent of the adult population participated in some form of gambling in 2018, down from 56.2 per cent of the adult population in 2016.
