New York-listed supplier Scientific Games has rolled out its Free Rounds feature in New Jersey’s regulated iGaming market.

New Jersey players can now use their free spins across a large library of game titles from the company’s in-house studios, as well as games from a number of third-party suppliers via its OpenGaming platform.

“Free Rounds significantly enhances the gaming experience, putting players first,” said SG Digital senior vice president of casino Dylan Slaney. “We’re taking it a step further and allowing players to use their free spins on a number of games across our library from us and from external studios.

“It’s a great way to empower New Jersey gamers to explore the deep library of content on offer. This aspect of Free Rounds is unrivaled in the industry, and we’re really excited to offer it in a burgeoning iGaming space.”

Resorts Digital Gaming, the iGaming arm of Atlantic City’s Resorts Casino Hotel, has become one of the first operators in the state to take up the supplier’s new feature.

“Free Rounds is a huge differentiator in the iGaming space in other markets, and we’re thrilled to now be offering it to our players in NJ,” said Resorts Digital Gaming chief executive Ed Andrewes. “As the first casino in Atlantic City, we always like to be at the cutting edge of any developments.”

Shares in Scientific Games Corporation (NYQ:SGMS) closed up 2.20 per cent at $26.07 per share in New York Wednesday.
