Playtech launches unified platform for content delivery

London-listed gaming supplier Playtech has integrated its game development studios with its new Games Marketplace platform.

The platform is a new content delivery eco-system that features games from Playtech’s nine studios, including Quickspin, Eyecon and Ash Gaming.

The games are delivered via the Playtech Open Platform, giving operators the ability to add rich functionality through IMS bonusing and the wider Engagement Centre capabilities, to create a more unified engagement experience for players.

“Playtech’s scale and distribution is a powerful offering for potential partners,” said Playtech vice president of product strategy Anthony Evans. “But more importantly, this is a great example of how we can collaborate with the industry’s leading content providers to create an offering with significant mutual benefits.

“While these content providers gain greater exposure, we know our customers will love the expanded content offering now available to them. Playtech Games Marketplace is fast becoming the industry’s home for great content, emphasising Playtech’s wider role as the essential infrastructure of the industry.”

Shares in Playtech plc (LSE:PTEC) were trading down 1.57 per cent at 351.00 pence per share in London Tuesday morning.
