The state-owned Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation
(PAGCOR) has reported a 12 per cent increase in gaming revenue to P75.8bn (€1.34bn)
for the full 2019 year.
Revenue from the Philippine gaming industry exceeded the regulator’s target by 2 per cent, or P1.3bn (€23.1m), during the year.
The biggest sources of PAGCOR’s gaming revenue were slot
machine operations, electronic bingo, table games operations, regulatory fees
from Philippine offshore gaming operations, and fees from licensed casinos.
