It is difficult to dislodge PokerStars in this category. For all the innovation shown at Kindred Group as it goes it alone; the moves into new territories by Winamax; and the under-the-radar success of IDNPoker, PokerStars continues to dominate.

The poker vertical has endured slings and arrows, but PokerStars runs ahead of the pack, with operational excellence, customer care and cross-marketing of online with land-based tournaments across the world.

Poker is no longer The Stars Group’s biggest vertical and it will be an even smaller percentage when TSG is submerged into Flutter. But it will lead Flutter’s charge into new global territories. Flutter’s other products will have to go some to match PokerStars’ excellence.
