Madrid-listed gaming operator Codere plans to temporarily
lay off up to 85 per cent of its workforce in Spain as it struggles to cope
with the COVID-19 shutdown.
The complete closure of all non-essential public venues has brought Codere’s operations to a standstill, prompting it to apply for support from the Spanish government for an initial 1,071 employees that will temporarily lose their jobs.
