Sydney-based slots developer Lightning Box has launched its first online slot games with Canada’s British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC).
Lightning Box’s most popular slot Silver Lion has gone live with the Canadian provincial lottery operator’s PlayNow.com site after the supplier was granted license approval by the province’s Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch.
“We’re very happy to have been granted permission to supply BCLC as it marks another important step as we continue to grow the business and its reach,” said Lightning Box CEO and co-founder Peter Causley. “I’m sure our games, starting with Silver Lion, will be as popular with their audience as they have been among other players on the continent and around the world.”
The approval further expands Lightning Box’s footprint across North America, having launched its first titles in Canada with Loto-Quebec late last year.
