Isle of Man-based gaming supplier Microgaming has paid out a €7.7m Mega Moolah jackpot to a lucky player at Malta-licensed operator River Belle Casino.

The player won the seven-figure prize after playing Atlantean Treasures: Mega Moolah, a new game developed exclusively by Neon Valley Studios, which has now paid out over €14.2m across 238,594 jackpots following its network-wide release on 25 February.

“Congratulations to the winning player for hitting the first ever Mega jackpot on Atlantean Treasures: Mega Moolah,” said Microgaming chief commercial officer Jean-Luc Ferriere. “The tremendous €7.7m win marks another milestone for Microgaming’s progressive jackpot network, and we look forward to further enhancing our growing portfolio with additional progressive games to deliver even more entertaining gameplay experiences and opportunities to win.”

Microgaming has recently expanded its progressive jackpot network through the launch of Absolootly Mad: Mega Moolah and the supplier’s newly revamped WowPot jackpot through the release of Wheel of Wishes, with Sisters of Oz the next jackpot game to be rolled out.

Last month Microgaming paid out €10.7m via its progressive jackpot to a player at another Malta-licensed operator, Jackpot City.
