Evolution Gaming signs strategic US deal with Golden Nugget

Stockholm-listed live dealer provider Evolution Gaming has signed a new partnership with leading US casino operator Golden Nugget.

Evolution will deliver its full suite of live dealer games to Golden Nugget’s online players in New Jersey, with the agreement also allowing the supplier to potentially launch its games in other US states via Golden Nugget’s other venues in Las Vegas, Laughlin (Nevada), Biloxi (Mississippi) and Lake Charles (Louisiana).

Games to be rolled out include Evolution’s live roulette, blackjack and baccarat table games, as well as exclusive game show titles such as Dream Catcher, Side Bet City and Top Card.

The games will appear as part of Golden Nugget’s expanded live casino offering, alongside the operator’s existing Ezugi-powered offering, which was launched in 2016. Games will be streamed live from Evolution’s studio in Atlantic City, or from the Golden Nugget Live Studio.

In addition, other operators currently served by the Golden Nugget Live Casino studio in New Jersey will also have the option to access select Evolution live casino games under the deal. This includes the likes of Betfair/FanDuel, Borgata, BetMGM, PartyCasino, BetAmerica and Caesars.

“Our online players and those of our partners are very well served with our existing online live casino offering in terms of classic casino table games,” Golden Nugget senior vice president and general manager of online gaming Thomas Winter. “The agreement with Evolution will give our players and those of our operating partners access to more unique show-style games and other unique titles, enriching their live gaming experience.

“The new generation of Evolution live casino games will also help us serve a broader player demographics, including sports bettors. This we believe, will allow us collectively to further increase the share of online casino revenue attributed to Live games.”

“This deal further consolidates our position in New Jersey while providing an additional strategic platform from which to introduce additional new games to the US, including titles that have already been very successful in the live casino space in Europe.”

Shares in Evolution Gaming Group AB (STO:EVO) were trading up 5.67 per cent at SEK533.20 per share in Stockholm earlier Tuesday.
