German telecommunications and media association DVTM has called on the government to introduce temporary regulations to support providers of online casino games after another legal challenge by an unlicensed operator.
Online casino gambling is currently prohibited under German law and numerous domestic courts have ruled that the country’s gambling legislation is incompatible with European Union law.
