IGT extends contract with Mississippi Lottery
29th May 2024 6:11 am GMTInternational Game Technology (IGT) has agreed a three-year contract extension with the Mississippi Lottery Corporation.
The new contract will see the company's IGT Global Solutions subsidiary continue to provide online gaming systems and instant ticket services until 1 December 2029.
IGT will also launch a mobile convenience app, new GameTouch 28 self-service terminals, and its Sales Wizard retail automation tool for the Mississippi Lottery.
Once launched, the mobile app will provide players with features such as the ability to view winning numbers, check for winning tickets, create digital payslips, find retailers and review responsible gaming materials.
IGT also plans to open more digital technology labs in Mississippi in addition to the six labs already up and running in the state. The supplier will also continue its annual scholarship contribution that benefits students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities in Mississippi.

“The new solutions that IGT is delivering in Mississippi will provide ultimate convenience for both the Lottery and its players while also supporting the needs of the evolving lottery landscape."

Shares in International Game Technology plc (NYSE:IGT) gained 0.25 per cent to close at $19.62 per share in New York on Tuesday.
