Intralot has successfully migrated British Columbia Lottery Corporation’s (BCLC) retail lottery system to its LotosX Omni ecosystem.
The system is now live with Intralot’s lottery terminals deployed across the BCLC’s retail network and hospitality locations in the Canadian province.
In total, there are 8,000 lottery terminals in 3,400 locations, including Intralot’s flagship PhotonX terminals and self-service terminals.
“BCLC is excited to introduce our new lottery system and terminals to our valued players across the province. This transition to the new Intralot LotosX Omni platform will help sustain and modernize B.C.’s lottery business and support future growth for the benefit of our communities,” said Pat Davis, president and CEO of the BCLC.
“We look forward to working with Intralot as we continue to evolve our lottery offer. We extend our greatest thanks to all Intralot and BCLC team members for their hard work and commitment to achieve this milestone conversion.”
Nikos Nikolakopoulos, Group CEO of Intralot, commented: “We’re honoured to be a trusted partner of BCLC, supporting their digital transformation journey and underpinning their efforts for sustainable growth in the dynamic lottery landscape.
“Intralot’s lottery ecosystem helps BCLC simplify operations, deliver digital lottery experiences, achieve faster time to market, and optimise efficiency.
“We’d like to express our gratitude to BCLC for their trust and collaboration which ensured a smooth transition, while we stand firmly to supporting BCLC’s responsible growth of lottery proceeds directed towards health care, education, and community programs all across British Columbia.”
