Camelot fined £100,000 for jackpot prize error

UK National Lottery operator Camelot has been fined £100,000 by the Gambling Commission for communicating an incorrect jackpot prize amount.

The error occurred in October 2013 with the relaunch of the National Lottery main game, when three jackpot winning ticket holders were informed by Camelot that they had won a bigger prize than they actually had.
