The Australian state of New South Wales has signed an agreement with Tatts Group that it claims will protect newsagents’ status as the primary distributors of lottery products in the territory.
The NWS government signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the operator that will ensure newsagents remain the principal outlets for lottery sales until the two parties can finalise a deal on a franchise agreement for the state.
