The Chinese lottery market recorded a 7 per cent increase in total sales to RMB310.78bn (€40.2bn) for the first nine months of 2017, following another strong month of growth from the Sports Lottery.
Total lottery sales in September increased 15 per cent versus a year ago to RMB36.93bn, comprising a 24 per cent rise in Sports Lottery sales and a 6 per cent increase in Welfare Lottery sales.
